WebsiteJudith graduated from the College of Veterinary Medicine in 1977. She began studying homeopathy in 1993. She studied for several years homeopathy with Dr. Pitcairn and was certified but the Academy of Veterinary Homeopathy in 1996. She continues to study with Dr. Andre Saine of the Academy of Canadian Homeopathy in Montreal. Judith opened the Animal Wellness Center in 1995.
Dr. Herman has been published in the Journal of the Academy of Veterinary Medicine and the Journal of American Holistic Veterinary Medicine. She currently writes a monthly column in the Downeast Dog News, and a blog on the Animal Wellness Center website.
Judith is a past president of the AVH, currently a member of the AVH Certification Committee, also medical advisor and board member of Avian Haven. Twice she has presented papers at the AVH Conference, Re-Maine Wild Conference, and Illinois University School of Veterinary Medicine. She has been a guest speaker and for many local clubs and organizations.
